Power Yoga: Movement + Mythology with Tom (St. Paul + Livestream)

What it is: an all-levels heated Vinyasa-style yoga class that matches breath with movement. Some yoga experience is encouraged, but not required.

 This month, in Tom's class, we continue our three-part journey through Asana, the third limb of the Eightfold Path, with a focus on sustaining the seat. This month centers on Vishnu, the preserver, known for maintaining balance through his many avatars and riding into battle on the eagle Garuda. We'll work with eagle variations and hip-opening postures, exploring the balance of contraction and expansion in the body. Stories and mythology will anchor the practice, inviting us to consider what it means to stay steady and composed within each shape.

This class is held in studio + live-streamed via Zoom, and pre-registration is required. The Zoom link can be found on our website under the OUR CLASSES tab.
