Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)
Our journey through Pranayama continues as we move into Svadhisthana, the chakra of emotion, creativity, and relationship. Located in the hips and lower abdomen, this center governs how we experience vulnerability and connection. Through deep hip openers, pigeon variations, and flying pigeon, we explore the tension between protection and surrender. Inspired by the story of King Shibi and the dove, we examine compassion under pressure and the willingness to stay present when something fragile seeks refuge. Breath becomes fluid and steady, guiding us through sensation without retreat. The sacral center teaches that openness requires courage.
